Our Enrolment Agreement

We ask all new students to read and sign an Enrolment Agreement before commencing with a lesson plan. This document sets out an agreement between yourself and your teacher that outlines our terms and conditions whilst studying with us. By reading and signing the Enrolment Agreement you are helping to support your teacher’s business and by extension their other students.

When you pay for a piano lesson you are not not just paying for your time slot; you are also paying for the years of training and experience your teacher has accrued, as well as their continued professional development. Your teacher will also spend a significant amount of time planning and creating resources for your lessons. They will be available to support you in between lessons should you have any questions about your practice.

At Chichester & Arun School of Piano we offer lesson plans designed to make the most out of our curriculum and progress tracking. If you miss a lesson you will not only miss out on the content of that lesson but you will also lose the momentum of previous lessons and practice. For this reason refunds for missed lessons are not given, and we encourage you to get in touch with your teacher as soon as possible to arrange a replacement lesson. Our teachers are very accommodating when asked to rearrange lessons, however it is important to understand that if they are not given enough notice of a lesson cancellation they have no obligation to offer a replacement lesson. Teacher’s should be informed no later than one week before a scheduled lesson if it needs to be rearranged.
